Melksham Town Council has announced the appointment of Tim Cross as facilities and hospitality team manager with effect from Monday 19th October.
Tim will be responsible for the successful operation of all Town Council owned or managed facilities including Melksham’s Assembly Hall.
Tim has previously been employed as operations manager at Salisbury City Hall since January 2011, prior to which he held the post of venues manager at Trowbridge Town Council.
Town clerk Steve Gray said, “The standard of applicants for the position was extraordinarily high and we are delighted to have appointed Tim, who has a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector, to the role.
“Tim will add significant value to the Town Council’s hospitality offering at a particularly exciting time for Melksham’s Assembly Hall as we develop the facility to provide great events and a fantastic venue for the community.”
