This anniversary is an opportunity for us to remember with respect and affection a wonderful person, admired not only in Wiltshire and Swindon but the world over. It is my privilege as HM Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire to invite you to pause and reflect for a moment on the memories of her long and unique reign.
“On your behalf I would also like to send our best wishes to HM King Charles III as he completes the first year of his new reign. God Save the King.”
