Due to the resignation of Paul Coward, a vacancy has arisen for a councillor to join Melksham Town Council.
Anyone interested must make it known in writing by Thursday 29th January to the returning officer.
If ten candidates apply for the vacant position than a election will be held to fill the vacancy but if insufficient interest is shown, than a co-option will take place where members of the council will decide on who should take the position.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than Tuesday 7th April.
