The chairman, Tricia Hoy, welcomed everyone to the June meeting in St Anthony’s Church Hall, West End, Melksham.
Tricia announced the outing in August to Hungerford to include a trip on the canal. After tea, our speaker, Richard Bush, told us about Guernsey during WW2 where his father served in the Red Cross. Richard told us of his father’s experiences and has further researched that period of history. Many of his recollections were chilling, which kept us all enthralled.
The next meeting will be at 2pm on 14th July, a cream tea in a member’s garden. If you would like further information about Melksham Townswomen’s Guild, please contact Tricia on 01225 704805
