MELKSHAM’s Carnival Royalty won a tug of war against the Army Recruit Team at the Forest Community Centre Family Fun Day on Wednesday 29th May.
Carnival princesses Charlotte, Izzy and Tilly, and prince Austin were joined by royalty Guardians Michelle and Beth. “The Melksham Carnival Team is very proud to have won!” said Beth. “We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and took the time to come and chat with us. Thank you also to Tina and Sarah for all their hard work, putting on such a great community event!”
Melksham Carnival takes place on Saturday 13th July and the team is still in need of volunteers, as marshals or bucket carriers, and to help with the parade on the day.
