VISITORS to High Street health and beauty store, Boots, have had their day brightened up during lockdown thanks to one rather colourful member of staff.
Throughout the lockdown period, Boots pharmacy advisor, Tracy Guy, has decorated her visor to help put a smile on colleagues’ and customers’ faces. Tracy has so far come to work in over 40 different designs ranging from animals, cartoon characters, and designs to mark special occasions such as VE Day and Captain Tom Moore’s birthday.
Tracy told Melksham News, “I’ve been doing this to make people smile during these scary times. The reaction has been great – everyone has loved it, especially the children. And I have enjoyed doing it – I have got a lot out of it! I wear a different design every day and it takes me around six hours every weekend to plan and make them. I’ve really loved doing it!”
Colleague Kate Rainbow added, “Tracy has made over 40 different masks that have been cheering customers and staff during this difficult time! It’s funny when she is out on the shop floor and suddenly you see these different faces staring back at you from over the shelves!”
