Melksham’s annual fireworks display, one of the biggest in the area, is set to return this Saturday 8th November.
Held at Oakfield Stadium, the event is a staple in Melksham’s calendar, with a 15-minute fireworks display set to music.
Created and delivered by Distant Thunder Fireworks, the company says the display will stretch 100 metres wide.
As well as the fireworks, the event promises a whole evening of fun with children’s fairground rides, music, food vendors and the football and rugby club bars open until late.
Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks display will start at 7.30pm.
There is parking available, however organisers said, “Because the new link road is now open, parking spaces are more limited. We ask you to bring as many people as possible in your vehicle.”
