The members of Melksham Speakers are very proud of the fact that they have obtained proficiency in several areas of public speaking.
Melksham Speakers Club is part of the National Association of Speakers Clubs who work to a Speakers Guide to encourage and support members in speaking in all walks of life. Some of the members have received certificates of achievement having worked half way through the Speakers Guide.
Sheila Jackson from the club said, “Learning to speak in public prepares us for many things, presentations, wedding speeches, interviews, making friends and overcoming shyness the list is endless. We are a very friendly and supportive club. Please come and see for yourself how you can eliminate shyness and have confidence in everything that you do.”
Melksham Speakers meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Rachel’s Fowler Centre commencing at 7.30pm. For further details contact Sheila on 07726537452.
