Wiltshire Mind is a very local charity, based in the High Street, Melksham, which provides support to anyone experiencing mental health issues in Wiltshire.
They provide six support groups in Melksham, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Malmesbury, Devizes and Salisbury, two groups for carers of those with mental health issues in Chippenham and Devizes (in association with Carers Support Wiltshire) and an evening support group. In addition to the above groups, they provide 1-1 counselling for adults and for young people, in Melksham and a Polish counselling service in Trowbridge too. Services are provided at a low cost.
“Please do make contact with this organisation if you think they can help you. It is a fact that mental health issues will affect 1 in 4 of us in our lives, it is not unusual to need help, Wiltshire Mind offers a safe place for anyone to gain help who experiences mental health issues.
The charity is not funded by National Mind and is not supported by any statutory authorities. This means that they need to raise every penny to continue their much-needed work. If you can raise funds to support the charity do get in touch.
