MELKSHAM’S Messy Church say they have had an “amazing week”, exploring some of the super-heroes of the Bible.
They say, “We met David, Noah, Samson, Peter and the boy who gave his lunch to feed the five thousand. Their super-powers were courage, faith, strength, loyalty and kindness.
“106 children came to Queensway Chapel to take part in this Messy Church holiday club over the course of the week, bringing adults along with them. Everyone took part in messy and not so messy activities, and joined in with singing, drama and just having fun together. Friday’s session ended on a high with a fish and chip lunch.
“The Messy Church team was made up of people from seven local churches. Messy Church will next meet from 4.00pm-5.30pm on Sunday 22nd September at Forest and Sandridge School.”
