THE White Hart at Atworth held their annual charity music festival, @FEST, last month and raised £775 for charity.
The popular music festival has been running for six years and has raised thousands of pounds for Dorothy House Hospice.
Landlady Kirsty Cortilla said, “It was brilliant and everyone said they had a great day. We raised a total of £775 from gate donations and a 10% profit share from the outside bar.
“The music was fantastic. Eight local bands performed and were given a warm reception from the crowd. Melksham band El-nino headlined and were brilliant.
“We are very proud of our charity work and since 2009 we have raised a total of £23,784.68 for local charities and groups. All the money from @FEST is donated to Dorothy House but we also have an in-house bottle for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The bottle last year raised £1,124.50.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved with this year’s festival. It was a great day with some awesome bands and excellent workers. Thank you for supporting us.”
