MELKSHAM’S Hope Debt Advice is encouraging people with money troubles to contact them after another client got themselves debt-free over Christmas.
Hope’s Barry Scarlett said, “If you are finding things financially difficult take action today.
“The advice we offer is confidential and free, and the centre has eight volunteers who are debt advice specialists. The advice team will help anyone who is in debt by contacting and agreeing solutions with creditors.
“Hope Debt will also help with budgeting or just lend a listening ear. Two dedicated advisors will be appointed to help you through the process, deal with correspondence and make telephone calls for you.”
Hope Debt Advice can be contacted at any time on Thursday mornings at the drop-in session from 10am to 12pm in Melksham United Church foyer (opposite Lloyds bank). Or contact 07501 210510; 01225 705440; or hopedebtmelksham@gmail.com. All advice is free.
