NO weekend plans? Why not head down to Melksham Assembly Hall to see the latest films hot from the big screen.
First up is The Secret Life of Pets (PG) on Saturday 17th September, 10.30am. From the humans behind Despicable Me. Ever wonder what your pets do when you’re not home? The quiet life of a terrier named Max is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes.
Next up is Florence Foster Jenkins (PG) on Friday 23rd September – 7:30pm. Staring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, the story tells of Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer despite having a terrible singing voice.
Tickets for the 10.30am performances are £3 for under 15s; £4 for adults. For the 7:30pm shows all tickets are £6 or two time credits. They are available on the night or in advance at Melksham Assembly Hall (01225 709887). Doors open 30 minutes before the movie.
