THE Bowerhill Bomber race is returning for a winter special!
Tracey Hyde and Adam Firks from Redfish Events say, “Time to kick-start the new year with our first event, The Bowerhill Bomber (winter).
“After the great success of The Bowerhill Bomber (summer) we thought we would organise a winter version. This event covers country lanes, fields, towpaths and some road which makes this run a picturesque countryside run. There are stiles, kissing gates and bridges. This event is supporting Melksham Carnival. The photo was taken last weekend (4th/5th January), so unless we have three weeks of sunshine, then it’s going to be muddy.
“The event takes place on Sunday 2nd February at Bowerhill Sports Field, Melksham, SN12 6TL. Runners can run 10K or 5K. Don’t leave it too late, register now, visit: www.entrycentral.com/festival/1547
“If you are unable to run, then why not come and marshal and cheer everyone on. If you are able to help marshal Bowerhill Bomber, then in return you can have a free entry to one of our 3K, 5K or 10K races.
