A NEW shop selling antiques and pre-loved items has opened on Bath Road.
Two Little Ducks at 22 Bath Road opened in July and is hoping to catch the eye of Melksham people.
Opened by local man Rob Seabridge, Two Little Ducks prides itself on selling high quality collectibles and items of interest. Rob settled in Melksham after a 24 year career in the army.
He said, “The shop has been received very well and I’m getting lots of positive feedback from visitors, which is great.
“I’ve been an antiques collector for most of my adult life and the hobby has grown into a business. I’m really enjoying the work and especially meeting like-minded people from Melksham and beyond.
“I try to stand out by making sure that my stock is attractive and individual – there’s a lot of cool stuff in the shop and I have been told I’ve got a good eye!”
Rob sources his stock from auctions and private sellers, but will also consider buying from people who visit the shop.
Two current items for sale include a Georgian bureau dating back to 1780, and a bank of the five surviving cinema seats from RAF Hullavington’s WWII airmen’s cinema, which was demolished in 2006. There are also cabinets with smaller items in the back of the shop.
Two Little Ducks is open from 10am to 4.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday.
