The ethos of Melksham Town Council is to strengthen the sense of community, create and promote inclusivity, improve the quality of life for all people and help every individual to fulfil and exceed in their aspirations. An important part of this is the Apprentice Programme and three apprentices have been recruited this autumn.
Nathaniel Heathcote – Horticulture Apprentice
Nathaniel, or Nathan as he prefers to be known, has joined the Team having completed his BTEC Level 3 in Countryside Management at Lackham College.
He is keen to build on the skills gained by him at Lackham and wants to play his part in Melksham’s South West in Bloom success. Nathan performs in a band with his brother in his spare time and has ambitions to become a full-time gardener.
Dean Goddard – Grounds Person Apprentice
Dean believes that working for Melksham Town Council in his hometown is a privilege as he wants to work within the local community. Being a Melksham lad, Dean has a good knowledge of the town. He is a passionate Chelsea Football Club supporter and also plays rugby for Trowbridge Rugby Club.
Taylor Robinson – Business Admin. Apprentice
Taylor will be starting her Level 3 NVQ in Business Administrator Standard shortly after beginning work at the Town Hall. she is looking forward to becoming a member of the team and believes in achieving her absolute best on projects allocated to her. Taylor is a keen skier and has travelled extensively throughout Europe.
