A NEW home accessories store has opened on Bath Road – @Home with Perfect Rooms.
The new business was welcomed to the town centre last week by Melksham’s mayor, cllr Jon Hubbard, who met with owner of @Home with Perfect Rooms, Sue Coleman, and her team, for a ribbon-cutting scheme.
“It was fantastic to visit @Home on Bath Road to cut the ribbon on their new store,” said mayor cllr Jon Hubbard.
“What a fantastic range of products they have there to make your home feel more welcoming and lived in. I was certainly delighted to be able to purchase a couple of items for the mayoress’ birthday later this week!
“Congratulations to the team on opening the store and can I say a massive welcome to Melksham!”
About opening a shop in a ‘post-lockdown world’, Sue told Melksham News, “I’m feeling very positive – it’s been a long time coming, we have been waiting over a year to open the shop. But I am very positive and hopeful that people will continue to return to the high street and use our services.”
The new shop is an extension of Sue’s Gastard-based business, Perfect Rooms & Interiors, which offers an interior design service.
At the Melksham-based @Home with Perfect Rooms, shoppers will find home accessories “for all your needs”.
“We have a selection of locally made potted candles, which are quite unique. Home accessories including lamps, glassware, ornamental dishes and bowls. Cushions to compete your look and fabric remnants if you are feeling creative!”
And with a wealth of experience behind them, Sue and the team can also offer advice to anyone wanting to talk about room or colour schemes.
@Home with Perfect Rooms is open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
