A new pop-up garden has been installed in the Market Place and is now open for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The garden, installed by Melksham Town Council, features a seating area and plants and will be open from April to the end of October.
A spokesperson for Melksham Town Council said, “Located in the heart of Melksham, the pop-up garden has been designed to complement the vibrant atmosphere of the Tuesday Market and the Makers’ Market.
“This new addition aims to create a more engaging and lively environment, encouraging both residents and visitors to spend more time in the Market Place.”
Buskers are also invited to contact Melksham Town Council for the opportunity to perform in this lively new setting.
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing community spaces. We’re eager to support emerging talent and provide a platform for artists to showcase their work,” said the spokesperson.
“We hope the pop-up garden will foster a greater sense of community spirit and inspire more local events in the Market Place over the coming months.”
