SIX-year old Norah Lodge has raised nearly £800 for charity with a cake sale and raffle.
£650 will go to Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), the national fundraising campaign to fund life-saving cancer research. And £125 was raised for Primrose Nature Area, which will help pay for a sit on lawn mower.
“Norah’s cake sale and raffle was insane!” said Norah’s mum, Alison Lodge. “She is super happy that she has been able to help so many families who are affected by cancer, she lost her grandad Rob to cancer; she never met him.
“Also she is happy she has been able to help Mark and Siddy with the lawn mower! Allowing nature and people to continue to enjoy the nature area.
“We had some wonderful raffle prizes donated by the following companies: Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Lovejoys Wholesale, In-eventation, Hairtek, Sparkle in Style, The Lodge House, Vintage Sweet Lodge, Sugarcraft Creations Online, Lydiard Developments LTD, M&S Trowbridge, Emma Love Designs, FW catering, Mr.Co.Flowerhouse.”
