Melksham-based car business Nortree is supporting this year’s Carnival by donating £250 to Melksham Carnival committee.
Director of Nortree, Dan Phillips said, “We’ve always supported the Carnival on a regular basis; however over the last three years we’ve really got involved with it.
“It feels really great to donate to such a worthy cause and good for the community as well, so we’re really happy to be on board.”
On receiving the donation the secretary for the Carnival committee Claire Smith said, “Thanks ever so much for the donation. Nortree has always supported the Carnival in more ways than one, not just with money, but with transport and they also join in the fun day too. They are just lovely. You couldn’t get a nicer bunch of people.
“They are a local business that have been in Melksham a long time, so it’s great that they are supporting us. That’s what it’s all about.”
Christine York, the carnival press officer says, “We are still in need of sponsors and are always on the look out for more support.”
