LOCAL garage Nortree Motor Company, has given £250 to the Melksham Carnival committee towards the running costs of this year’s event.
Daniel Phillips from Nortree said, “Once again we are delighted to support Melksham Carnival which is such a great event in the town. It’s important to support the local community and get involved with things going on in the town.”
Simon Hedley, chair of the Carnival Committee said, “We are delighted to have received this cheque from Nortree. We received a grant from Melksham Town Council and Melksham Without Parish Council but other than that, fundraising and kind donations like this are our only source of income. We are very grateful.”
