Making their first ever appearance at Melksham’s Party in the Park will be the sensational Only One Direction.
In under three years, Only 1D have performed to over a quarter of a million people and firmly established themselves as the best One Direction tribute band around. They have even received praise from One Direction’s Harry Styles, who said, “Their harmonies are angelic.”
The Only 1D boys regularly play to sell-out audiences and have gained a reputation for performing with the same charisma, energy and enthusiasm as the famous boy band that was launched to worldwide superstardom on ITV’s ‘X Factor’.
They will take to the stage as the afternoon’s headline act, performing songs from all four of One Direction’s smash hit albums including: ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, ‘Story of My Life’, ‘Best Song Ever’, ‘Midnight Memories’ and ‘Steal My Girl’.
Also appearing at Melksham’s outdoor musical extravaganza are Purple Fish. This five-piece rock band perform cover versions of some of rock music’s greatest acts such as Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, The Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon and AC/ DC, to name but a few.

The Party in the Park takes place at Melksham’s King George V playing field on Saturday 18th July. Organisers are seeking volunteers who are available to help set up on Friday 17th July and anyone who wants to help should contact them on melkshamparty@fsmail.net
