A LOCAL couple’s open house has raised £500 for charity.
The event was hosted by Margaret and Terry Gerrish at their home on Maple Close with a whole host of items on sale.
The money will be split equally between Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Myaware (Myasthenia Gravis Association) – the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia, a rare group of neuromuscular conditions.
