IT is official, the votes have pawed in and Melksham’s cutest pet has been found! The winner has been awarded to Penny, a three-year-old Labrador, whose owners have won a £50 voucher for a local pet store.
The Melksham News’ Cutest Pet competition is organised each year for National Pet Month, which aims to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and encourage fundraising for the nation’s needy pets.
Penny’s owners, Mal and Ed, said, “Our little girl, Penny, is three years old. We were lucky to have been picked to have Penny into our family, back in November. Penny brightens up our days with her beautiful smile and calm personality. We were overwhelmed by the love and would like to say a big ‘thank you’ for the support we received.”
