Melksham Amateur Photography Group celebrated their first birthday this month.
Established by Julie Lavery and Rebecca Hatfield, the group has grown over the year with 233 members on the Facebook page and a good attendance at weekly meetings.
Julie said, “Having started in the winter months we have endured all sorts of weather, but we still went out to take photos, usually ending up in Grounded for a warm drink.
“We have had a go at light trails, wire wool, sunsets, night skies and visiting local towns, Avebury and Roundway, portraits, sharing editing information and still life, to name but a few. A few of us take photos for parkrun, which is always fun.
“We are all at different levels in our photography journey and we help each other. We have three weeks outside and one week in. The group is a very social, friendly, laid back kind of group.
