POLICE are investigating the appearance of transphobic stickers in the town centre.
The stickers were found by residents on bus stops in the Market Place.
Police told Melksham News, “We can confirm that this incident was reported to us on Tuesday (09/02) and it is understood the sticker has been removed.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210012996.
“We have a zero-tolerance approach to hate crime and you can also report using our online reporting tool at www.wiltshire.police.uk/hatecrime.”
