A live music and family fun day is returning to The Pilot in Bowerhill this Saturday to raise funds for local mental health charity Wiltshire Mind.
Taking place on Saturday 19th September, the event will run from 12pm until late and will feature live music, a raffle, online auctions and tombolas.
Performers include Maxwell, Jasmine Iona, Jake Lockhart, Tex, Kickin Sistas, Sonic Alert and the Singing Herdsman.
There will also be a visit from Bluey, along with glitter tattoos, festival hair styling, crafts and the popular Water or Wine stall.
A food truck and ice cream van will also be on site.
A new dog show will take place at 2pm, with registration from 1.45pm. Entry is £2 per category, with prizes for prettiest girl, most handsome boy, best trick, cutest puppy, best young handler, waggiest tail and golden oldie.
Local teenager Oliver Hancock will also be selling dog treats and sweet cones through his business Food for Fido, raising money for a trip to Borneo where he will volunteer and work with local communities.
Organiser Tracie Winslow said, “It’s a lovely afternoon with a great atmosphere. Please come along and support an incredible charity while listening to our local talent.
“I would like to personally thank everyone who has volunteered, donated and helped me. Myself and Wiltshire Mind are so grateful. Segment Storage in Bowerhill have been amazing, letting me have a unit to store all of the donations. It has been a massive help and I’m really grateful for their kindness.”
Tracie has been running the event for six years, with the last one taking place in 2024, where she raised over £7,000 for Wiltshire Mind, which offers one-to-one counselling services for adults and young people.
