FOLLOWING last year’s success, this year Bowerhill PTA say they are more excited than ever to invite everyone to the Bowerhill School Fete on Friday 5th June, 6-8.30pm.
This year they have chosen a beach party theme for the fete. There will be lots of beach games to get everyone in the spirit, including a limbo challenge and the surf simulator.
Tina Kimmitt from the school said, “We are very happy to announce that Jon Monie, the star of Bath Theatre Royal panto will be opening the fete for us.
“There will be so much for everyone to do, we can’t wait to open the doors. Last year over 1,100 people came and the atmosphere was brilliant. We are really hoping to repeat this success.
“The field will be full of brilliant games and huge inflatables. We have the popular body zorbing, assault course, bouncy castle and for the first time a bungee run.
“The playgroup will have games and stalls as well as go-karting, candy floss, ice cream and a sweet stand, as well as a barbecue and bar. There will also be refreshments and gift stalls in the hall, as well as the chance to have your nails done or even get a tattoo.”
The fete will help raise funds to buy shading sails to help keep the children cool in the playground.
