FOREST and Sandridge preschool class, Seedlings, took part in Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s ‘Bake Off For Lift Off’ fundraiser.
Helen Biles-Wood, deputy headteacher said, “The children had a wonderful time baking cakes and getting biscuits ready. On the day, the children brought in their own teddy bears and had a teddy bears’ picnic in the Seedlings garden in the sunshine.
“They sang songs with our teddies and told them stories. After school, they had a surprise visit from the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Teddy Bear pilot. The children and staff sold the rest of the cakes to the children as they were leaving school. Lots of the children had pictures and cuddles with the huge teddy. The children raised £100.”
