THERE are prizes galore available in a special charity raffle being held at Henry’s Café.
Some of the prizes on offer include a Tops Hair Salon & Beauty gift hamper worth over £60, Henry’s Café vouchers worth £10, a £50 voucher towards hot tub hire from Wiltshire Hot Tubs, and much, much more.
The café, located on the High Street, is raising money for Evie’s Gift – the Melksham-based charity set up by local couple Bryan and Patsy Clover in memory of their 13-year-old daughter, Evie, who died from an aggressive brain tumour in 2018.
To launch their fundraiser, the café held a special Evie’s Gift coffee morning on Friday 25th September, donating 50p from every coffee sold on the day to the charity.
The charity raffle will stay open until Friday 2nd October – tickets cost £1 per ticket. You may purchase them at Henry’s Café or with your mobile phone by texting HENRYS to 70085 to give £1 or buy a raffle ticket. If you wish to give/buy more, then it’s HENRYS 2, HENRYS 3, to buy two or three tickets respectively.
Evie’s Gift, has two main aims: to give immediate financial assistance to parents whose children have been admitted to hospital with a life threatening or life limiting condition, and to fund research into the rare brain cancer.
