Nature Reserve Volunteer: Wiltshire Wildlife Trust owns or manages 38 nature reserves across Wiltshire. Volunteers are involved in every aspect of nature reserve management. Tasks vary from coppicing, tree felling, meadow management and pond clearance to important footpath work – keeping many miles of paths through the reserves open for visitors.
Good Neighbour Volunteer: Seend Link are looking for volunteers who can transport local residents to medical appointments, visiting friends in hospital, befriending or helping local residents with shopping, collecting prescriptions, small gardening and DIY jobs.
Collection Box Volunteer: Barnardo’s are looking for volunteers who have a few hours to spare who can open Barnado’s collecting boxes, count and bank money and complete relevant forms
Community Governor: Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership are looking for volunteers to become part of the council of governors and be the voice of their members. The Council of Governors will talk with the board and question them on issues raised in membership and request that action be taken where appropriate.
