ORGANISERS of Melksham Comic Con will be hosting their first fundraiser of the year next month with a ‘Quiz and Pudding Night’ at the Assembly Hall.
The annual event will consist of a general knowledge quiz, an all-you-can-eat pudding buffet, and a licensed bar. The quiz will take place on Friday 5th February from 7pm until 10.30pm.
Organiser Hayley Spencer said, “This event is a sell-out every year, it’s really popular and it’s a fantastic fundraiser for the Comic Con. The Assembly Hall is huge for this sort of thing, so there’s a great atmosphere.
“The quiz is not comic-book themed, it’s just a general pub quiz, so everyone is welcome. We write it ourselves, too, so they’ll be good questions! It’s great to see the creativity and community at these events, and it’s a lot of fun. Don’t miss out!”
Teams of up to six people are welcome to enter, and there will be a cash prize for the winner. Tickets cost £7.50 each from Komix on Church Street.
