Melksham Royal Air Forces Association held their annual barbecue at Sue and Tony Horton’s on 4th July.
Over 50 members and friends attended the barbecue, and over £750 was raised on the day towards the association’s Welfare Appeal.
Sue and Tony said, “We would like to say a big thank you to Will Beaven Butchers for donating the meat for the event.
“Other company donations came from Moles Brewery, CJ’s Cafe Littlebrooke Centre, Sultan Indian Restaurant, CASA, Bruce and Diane at the Spar Petrol Station, Cobblers Bench, Photostop, West Country Jewellers, Hilary Jones and RAFA members.
“This event could not have raised this amazing amount if it was not for all the donations that we received. A big thank you to Rolf and Lorna also Dave and Kay for letting us have the use of their Gardens.”
