Melksham’s new Read Easy group has just had its official launch at ‘Melksham’s Party in the Park’ or ‘Carnival Day’.
Lesley Windebank reported, “We were supported by Melksham’s Deputy Mayor and the Town Crier and three of our sponsors came along too. We had an amazing stand with cake, fizz, balloons and a smart banner.
“We had visits to our busy stand from our sponsors, including Green Square Group, Knorr Bremse and the Melksham Area Board.
“We are so close to being ‘up and running’. Our next training day is after the holidays and we just need a few more volunteer reading coaches. If you are interested in finding out more please ring 07468 852655.
