A NEWLY refurbished barber shop has opened in Melksham with the owner promising “a high quality personal service in modern and stylish surroundings.”
That is the message from Shaun Heathcote who has taken over Union Street Barbers on his own and transformed the place having spent thousands refurbishing the shop.
Shaun, a Melksham man who has lived in the town all his life had previously been joint owner of the shop for the past five years but has now taken over and transformed the place makin it almost unrecognisable.
He decided to give the shop a go on his own after all the positive feedback he received from clients about the quality of his cuts at low prices. The shop has a separate waiting room with wifi and an Xbox allowing clients to remain comfortable before they get in the chair. The separate room layout also allows clients privacy when they are having their hair cut which adds to the experience.
Shaun said, “The new shop is stylish and modern and has a completely different feel and look about it. I have many years experience and welcome any new customers. I have focussed on the overall experience for clients as now there is high quality surroundings to match the personal and professional cuts that they get.”
Union Street Barbers is open 9am-5pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am-6pm on Thursday’s, 9am-7pm on Friday’s and 9am-3pm on Saturday’s. Prices are adults £9, children £7 (under 12s) and £7.50 (ages 12-17) with OAP’s charged £6. A professional shave is £6. All Avon employess also receive £1.50 off any service.
