THE Melksham family of the late Michelle Phillips – who was tragically killed in a car accident in Devon aged just 26 – are inviting people to join them at a special remembrance service for road traffic victims.
The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims service, organised by national charity RoadPeace, will be held on 19th November in Pigeon Park, Lower Borough Walls, Bath at 11am.
The charity RoadPeace says, “This ceremony is to acknowledge all lives lost and broken in the Southwest.
“The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year – to remember the many millions killed and injured on the world’s roads, together with their families, friends and the many others who are also affected.
“It is also an opportunity to thank the emergency services, medical professionals and others who deal daily with the traumatic aftermath of road death and injury.”
