Residents can still have their say on the second draft of Melksham’s Joint Neighbourhood Plan, as the consultation period has been extended until Thursday 22nd August.
The reviewed draft plan updates some existing policies and provides some new policies. Once adopted, these policies must be used when considering planning applications in both the parishes of Melksham Town and Melksham Without.
The consultation period started on Thursday 20th June and was due to run for eight weeks; however, it has been extended due to new documents added that support the plan, including viability assessments for Cooper Tires, the former library and Whitley Farm sites.
The draft plan and associated material are online at: www.melkshamneighbourhoodplan.org
