MELKSHAM Rock ‘n’ Roll Club is returning to the Assembly Hall this week!
The group return for their first post-lockdown event this Saturday, 19th December, from 6pm to 11pm with a performance from authentic rockabilly and rock n roll band, Bernie Woods & The Forest Fires.
There will also be support from DJ Bo Duddley.
Whilst dancing will not be allowed due to Covid-19 regulations, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Club is promising a ‘safe’ but entertaining evening.
Organisers explain, “This will be run under strict rules. Tables of 6, 4 or 2 can be paid for in advance through the website Ticket Source and at Melksham Tourist Information Centre.
“We are only allowed a maximum of 90 and it will be table service only, plus masks must be worn when moving between tables.
“At this moment in time dancing is not allowed either and there won’t be a raffle or clothing/CD stall until we see how this works.
“A one-way system will also be in operation in the foyer. Please adhere to these rules as best you can, so that we can keep operating.”
