RESIDENTS and visitors to Rowley Place celebrated the Royal Wedding on Saturday 19th May to great effect.
Nick Galpin of Rowley Place reported, “A great effort was made with bunting inside and outside on Saturday 19th May at Rowley Place Centre. The Good Neighbours Club celebrated the royal wedding with fish and chips.
“40 members/residents enjoyed watching the ceremony on the large screen then after, had fish and chips and a toast was raised to the happy couple, Harry and Meghan, with a glass of bubbly and a piece of wedding cake.
“All made a fantastic effort to dress for the occasion and a prize went to the best dressed, and finished off with a game of bingo Everyone enjoyed the day.”
