INSPIRATIONAL messages have been dotted around the town’s high street by Melksham Scouts, to promote positive mental health in the community.
Messages such as ‘always look on the bright side of life’ and ‘always remember you are loved’ can be seen tied to different places around the town such as the town hall and trees.
Scout leader Emily said, “Melksham Scouts blessed our high street with over 50 positive messages. We all know that times can be hard, so our intentions were giving someone a little smile.
“As part of their local knowledge and global issues badges, the Scouts created positive messages to share throughout the town. We discussed the importance of helping promote positive mental health and what they could do to make someone smile. They each came up with six messages that they would like to see and on the evening of 21st November, we walked around town and placed them for everyone to enjoy.”
