SEA breezes will be blowing into Broughton Gifford next month when the Bristol a cappella sea shanty quartet, The Roaring Trowmen, sail into the village.
The quartet will be performing at St Mary’s Church on Friday 1st October at 7.30pm.
Organisers say, “This group has built up a great reputation not only in Britain, by its gigs and performances at festivals, but also as far away as the United States.
“This is the first of a series of concerts planed at St Mary’s Church, which has recently spent more than £100,000 on installing toilets and hospitality facilities.”
Tickets are £8 in advance from The Bell on the Common, Broughton Gifford and Holt Superstore, or can be purchased for £10 on the night. Further details are available from Christopher Fielden on 01225 782509.
