YOU are invited to Melksham and District Seniors 55+ Forum’s special event on Thursday 30th June, to discover the wide range of activities and hobbies available locally.
The community outreach event will take place at the Canberra Centre from 1.30-4pm and everyone is welcome.
“The aim of the event is to get as many groups and organisations together to create a strong community partnership within the town,” said organiser Brian Warwick.
“Whatever you enjoy doing, meet like minded people who share your interest and hobbies; whether it be pottery making, gardening, walking, music, arts and crafts, DIY – or anything else – come together and share your passions.
“The event also welcomes younger members of the community to come along and see what hobbie and activities their older family members are doing.
Melksham and District Seniors is always looking for volunteers to help older and more vulnerable individuals who would ordinarily be on their own.
