LOCAL charity, Wiltshire Sight, is hosting a sight loss information day at the Assembly Hall later this month.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the charity’s community sight loss adviser, Alan Whetherly.
Alan says, “This open day is an ideal opportunity for family, friends and professionals to gain a greater knowledge around sight loss and find out how Wiltshire Sight can assist you.
“I will be on hand to provide information, advice and guidance about living with sight loss. You can also get help with using your smartphone or tablet; discover new resources with daily living: and meet others living with sight loss.
“We will also have colleagues from Humanware to demonstrate technology that can enable you to remain independent.”
The event takes place on Thursday 28th March in the lounge room at the Assembly Hall from 11am until 2pm.
