BABES Sing and Sign classes are coming to Melksham.
Led by Melksham local Ceri Roberts, who also runs classes in Melksham for children aged between 5 and 30-months, the classes are for babies 0-6-months, teaching sign language using songs and rhymes.
Ceri said, “Babes classes are relaxed, intimate and gentle classes focusing on developing early interaction and communication with the smallest of babies. We run a 10-week programme with weekly themes. We use music, songs, rhymes, our senses and also introduce first signs.
“Our programmes have been developed with the help of speech and language therapists and recognised by experts.
“There has been a lot of interest already for our Babes classes, so do get in touch if you would like a place. We also have some spaces in classes for 6-14mths and 14-30mths. These are fun and interactive classes which develop communication before and alongside speech.
