A NEW group has formed to sing in That Meeting Space every week. The Red Door Singers plan to start singing from September, on Tuesday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3pm.
Sessions will start on Tuesday 5th September and are open to anyone who wants to have a good sing, have fun and meet new friends.
“You don’t even have to be able to sing, just come along and make some noise!” said member Janet Wallington. “There’s a small charge of £2 to cover costs (which should be reduced when numbers increase) and lyrics to the songs will be available to borrow or to buy.
“The atmosphere is so lovely in That Meeting Space and it’s conveniently located in the middle of town. Many of us can walk there thus getting some exercise as well as having a sing!”
Another member, Barb Lane, added, “We have formed this group as a co-operative to promote positive wellbeing and just to have an uplifting singalong.”
