MELKSHAM’S Happy Circle Day Centre was presented with £500 from Asda’s green token scheme recently.
The not-for-profit club, based at Rowley Place, hosts social meetings and lunches for elderly people and the money will go towards continuing its activities.
Secretary Heather Newman said, “The Happy Circle Day Centre meets on a Monday for fun activities and friendship, together with a hot meal. The club has spaces for new members so if you are interested in joining us, or would like to know more about the club please get in touch.”
Organiser Sue Thompson can be contacted on 07773 210190. Transport can be arranged if needed. The club is holding a spring fayre on Monday 20th March from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Rowley Place. All are welcome.
