START the festive season with Melksham’s Pet Food Bank’s Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday 25th November at Forest Community Centre.
The day will include a lantern parade with prizes, a dog show, face painting, fairground rides, a bouncy castle, sweet stall, crepes, traditional carols from Melksham Music and Drama, a tombola and a raffle plus more.
Children will also have the opportunity to meet the famous Bluey, the television puppy who loves to play and to visit and get a gift from Santa.
There will also be a licensed bar plus stalls from Pawsitive Pets, Oscars Dog Food, Siam Street Food, Cobbee Crafts, Incense New Age and Sandridge Brownies while the Spirit Whisperers will be offering private mini readings of mediumship.
Profits will also go to Melksham Pet Food Bank and Forest Community Centre.
The event runs from 1.30pm and runs until 5.30pm. Entry is free.
Melksham’s Pet Food Bank was set up at the end of last year to ensure pet owners could still feed their animals during the cost-of-living crisis.
