STUDENTS in Year 6 at Bowerhill Primary School celebrated the end of their primary school journey, with a school fate and honour walk to ceremoniously mark their higher-than-average SATs results.
On Tuesday 25th July, the corridors were lined by staff and students who applauded Year 6 as they walked out of school for the final time.
Teacher, Sarah Bain said, “Their SATs results were higher than the national average in every subject, which was excellent!”
Along with this, a school fair was held as part of an enterprise project completed by the students, where they raised £1,200 for the school.
Sarah said, “Everyone has been so impressed with their work and ideas! The fair was a success, with much of the school community supporting the children.”
Sharing what they will miss about Bowerhill Primary School, one student Ethan said, “I’ll miss the great memories but I am looking forward to meeting new people.” Another student, Bethan said, “I’ll miss everyone from Bowerhill but I am looking forward to being in the same school as my sister!”
