MELKSHAM’S mixed martial arts club, Dragons Lair MMA, is celebrating success at last month’s ‘Cage Warriors’ event in Colchester.
Stuart Pike reports, “On Saturday 20th October, three of our fighters won their fights. Krzysztof Pawlaczek won by 1st round knock-out, earning himself a ‘KO of the night’ bonus.
“Grzegorz Pawlaczek won in the 3rd round by a technical knockout (TKO) earning himself a fight of the night bonus.
“Top prospect, Jack Eglin, took a unanimous decision victory, which means he’ll be fighting on the 8th December at Cage Warriors 100 in Cardiff in the amateur grand prix final.
“As a non-profit gym we’d like to thank local businesses for supporting our fighters, Ifixer, BadBoy Supplements, Total Carpentry Wiltshire, Meads of Melksham, John Wales removals, Melksham Scaffolding, Inside and Out roofing and TrojanFit Equipment.”
