Residents are invited to The Big Bloom Clean on Sunday 7th July, ahead of the judging that takes place for this year’s South West in Bloom Competition on Monday 8th July.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Britain in Bloom and Melksham is determined to go for gold in the South West area competition after the town was awarded gold for four consecutive years between 2018 and 2021.
Although the judges only visit for one day, the town’s efforts over the whole year will be taken into consideration. The Bloom team is asking residents and businesses to ‘play their part’ in keeping their areas clean, tidy and ‘beautiful’ to give the town the best chance at impressing the judges.
The Big Bloom Clean will run from 1pm to 3pm starting at Melksham Town Hall and all are welcome to attend.
